The precise and purposeful process our founders created to achieve their taste vision is now both time-honored and scientifically proven. Some old school distillers say that if you shake the bottle, you get a sense for the proof of the bourbon. If your bourbon has large bubbles that disappear quickly it indicates higher proof, while smaller bubbles that disappear slower indicates lower proof.
